New Construction Wiring
Rough-in to trim-out electrical for residential new builds in Lincoln and the surrounding metro area.
Working With Builders
Stevens Electrical works alongside general contractors and custom home builders on residential new construction throughout the Lincoln metro. We understand build schedules and coordinate directly with the GC to ensure electrical work fits into the broader project timeline without causing delays for other trades.
Electrical on a new build happens in two major phases. The rough-in phase happens after framing and before drywall — this is when all the wiring is run through the walls, boxes are placed, and the panel is installed. After drywall, the trim-out phase installs all the devices, fixtures, covers, and final panel connections. Both phases require inspection by the City of Lincoln, and Stevens Electrical handles permit applications and inspection scheduling from start to finish.
We've built relationships with inspectors and know what Lincoln's residential code expects. First-time inspection passes keep your project on schedule — that's what we aim for every time.
